GAY.COM Local Scene

Local Scene is refining our focus to emphasize entertainment and nightlife in a few of the top gay cities in the United States: Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco.

Within Local Scene, you'll find four primary sections.

The events calendar strives to include a wide range of activities to appeal to the at least some facet of the entire spectrum of the LGBT community -- concerts and plays, poetry readings, club nights and circuit parties, street fairs and Pride festivals, charity fundraisers, and the like -- while the business directory focuses on social venues like restaurants, bars and clubs, theaters, and other businesses that are part of the city's gay social scene.

Our articles also emphasize the social scene, including interviews with visiting and local celebrities about events they are promoting or their favorite places to go in the city. Spotlight articles provide a narrative overview of the city, providing a quick snapshot of the city for visitors and newcomers. It also includes highlighting some of the top events coming up in the next month.
