Launch Day 3 - chat improvements added

We took the site offline for a few hours this morning to make some additional performance improvements.

Specifically, we have fixed some problems we were seeing with slow loading of the Group Chat lists. This may have been preventing some users from getting into rooms as well. The new code we pushed live this afternoon should help address this problem.

As promised, we also removed the entry and exit alerts from chat. We heard from users that they were taking up too much space. If and when we bring them back, it will be as a user-controlled setting.
