new gay.com live, but slow...

This morning just after midnight, we launched the new gay.com.  We know the site is slow right now. Very slow. We are working as fast as we can to get performance improved. Please bear with us.

Not surprisingly, we've been hearing an earful from users. It’s a big change and there are still definitely kinks to iron out both on performance and features. We have a list of known issues posted here. We’re not perfect, but we’re working on it.

With this launch, we are trying to do things differently. One major change is that we plan to be continuously improving the site – look for updates and changes much more frequently than in the past. As we continue to evolve, we’ll look to you, our customers, for help in making it what you want it to be.  While we can’t please everyone all of the time, we are listening with open ears to both the positives and the negatives. We want and need you to be part of the conversation of how gay.com might grow in the future.

If you do find something you like or don’t like, let us know. We have made it easy for you to let us know your thoughts by clicking on a link to a feedback form at the top of every page of the site.

Finally, all of us here at gay.com want to extend a thank you for your continued patience and support.

Eric Wilson
VP, Product Planning and Strategy
