Tips and Tricks: IM Sound Alerts

The new IM has sound alerts that let you know if someone is sending you a message or IM request. If you have another window in focus, sound alerts tell you that someone is trying to contact you.

However, there are times when you may not want the sound alerts on.  For that reason we created a control on the IM Window that allows you to turn the sound alerts off. Simply click on the IM Sound Control button to turn sound alerts on or off.
