Site Update

We updated the gay.com site today, with a number of changes focused on the chat suite.  Ignore is now available, in both Group Chat and IM.  Support for “/me” in chat is also available now.  Finally, we’ve made several fixes intended to further improve site performance and stability.

Ignore
Ignore is a chat specific feature which prevents you from seeing IM requests or group chat messages from other members.  You can choose to ignore a member from their mini-profile within IM or group chat.  Ignored members will be displayed grayed out in chat windows.  You can choose to remove the ignore from mini-profile as well.  Ignore is available to all gay.com members.

For Premium members, blocking a member will also ignore them.

/me
We’ve returned support for the /me command in both IM and group chat.  What’s /me?  When you begin a chat message with /me, your member name will be displayed instead.  Here’s what it looks like:
