AOL User Recommendation

After investigating reported AOL issues, we are recommending that AOL users download the Firefox 3 web browser, and use Firefox as your web browser for gay.com.  gay.com chat is currently not compatible with the AOL web browser.

We do not recommend AOL users download the Internet Explorer browser because of a conflict that may arise when using both AOL and Internet Explorer. Specifically, users may experience difficulties chatting when using both AOL and Internet Explorer side-by-side if both browsers are open to gay.com at the same time.

NOTE: Firefox is not a software patch that enables use of the AOL Browser. You must use Firefox, not the AOL browser, as your web browser for gay.com.

To download and use Firefox, please follow the instructions below.

For Firefox:

Click on the green "Free Download" button and follow the prompts.

Once you have Firefox installed you will need to set the pop-up blocker to allow for gay.com:
1. Open the Firefox browser.
2. On the menu bar, click on Tools, and select Options.
3. Click on the Content tab.
4. Click on the Exceptions button to the right of the "Block pop-up windows" check box.
5. Enter www.gay.com and click Allow
6. Refresh the page.

To access gay.com:
After connecting to the internet, please close your AOL browser. Launch the Firefox browser and go to www.gay.com.
